Guwahati, Assam, December 27 (HBTV): The bodies of a girl and a boy were found floating in the Brahmaputra river on Friday morning in Assam’s Guwahati.
The 13-year-old girl identified as one Juhi Das went missing from her home in the city's Garigaon area on December 25.
According to her family, Das was allegedly abducted by a man named Hirakjyoti Das, who worked as a school van driver. Hirakjyoti's body was also discovered this morning in the same river.
Police investigations revealed CCTV footage from December 25, showing Juhi walking alongside Hirakjyoti as they left her house together.
The circumstances surrounding their deaths remain unclear. The families have demand a thorough investigation into the events leading to their deaths.
